Wrocław Neutrino Group participates in two long-baseline experiments: T2K and ICARUS.
We organized the 45th Winter School in Theoretical Physics 'Neutrino interactions: from theory to Monte Carlo simulations' (2-11 February 2009, Lądek-Zdrój) and the 20th Max Born Symposium 'Nuclear effects in neutrino interactions' (7-10 December 2005, Wrocław).
Research topics:
-
Nuclear effects in neutrino interactions (spectral function as a description of nucleus, random phase approximation)
-
Monte Carlo simulations
-
Resonance production models
Members of the group:
- Jan Sobczyk
- Cezary Juszczak
- Krzysztof Graczyk
- Jakub Żmuda (PhD student)
- Tomasz Golan (PhD student)
Former members:
- Artur Ankowski (now at INFN, Sezione di Roma)
- Jarosław Nowak (now at Louisiana State University)
- Jarosław Pasternak (now at Imperial College London)
